Best batch of Salvation to date,
darker, less raison, more chocolate character, overall more depth of flavor. |

This is the first batch of
Salvation using a new type of sugar that we are experimenting with. The aroma
has an intense fruit quality while the flavor is soft fruit, chocolate, and
rum character. It's hard to believe this is 9% ABV. We feel the Batch 003
Salvation can use a few months aging. |

Finished a little sweeter than
batch 1 so it has more body. Seems to be more complex than batch 1, though
time will tell… |

This is the first bottling of
Salvation; it has more chocolate character than previous draft versions. All
in all, this beer could use some bottle age to mellow out. We've also dried
the beer out a little more than in the past. Although, this will lighten the
body a little, it should make it more drinkable overall.
