DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greets and assists customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Effectively and accurately communicates information to consumers regarding our beer, merchandise, and the company in general, etc.
- Handles cash drawer and credit card transactions
- Keeps merchandise organized, folded, and stocked at all times
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Principles and processes for providing excellent customer service
- Basic arithmetic and the ability to operate the Point of Sale system (Toast)
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Work as a team member
- Speak clearly so others can understand you
- Accuracy when fulfilling customer orders and re-ordering merchandise
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
- Responsible Beverage Service certification (RRBC can provide)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
- Stand for long periods of time; walk; use fingers and hands, reach with hands; talk and hear; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Requires manual dexterity and ability to quickly move hand(s), hand with arm, grasp, manipulate or assemble
- The employee must occasionally lift, carry, and/or move up to 50 pounds. Use of arms above the shoulder is sometimes required
