SUMMARY

This position is responsible for supporting bottling, canning and kegging operations and kegging beer at the Windsor location.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate, and provide support for, all bottling, canning, and kegging operations
  • Cleaning and sanitation of equipment including CIP of bright beer tanks and fillers
  • Perform regular and preventative maintenance on packaging equipment and end-of-day cleaning on all lines
  • Operate the keg racker
  • All work to be completed with an eye towards low TPO (Total Packaged Oxygen)
  • Accurately record and report packaging data into OBeer as well as Smartsheet
  • Work with the packaging supervisors to achieve all QC goals
  • Work safely and demonstrate cooperation with co-workers
  • Report any mechanical issues to packaging supervisors
  • Ensures all packaging tasks are completed safely, accurately and on-time
  • Have a passion for quality beer and quality workmanship
  • Operate a fork lift safely
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail
  • Follow all safety rules and wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required
  • All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience on a packaging line is preferred
  • Possess a mechanical aptitude to repair packaging equipment
  • Must be serious about safety, quality and cleanliness

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Position may require occasional weekend and/or evening work

Shift work: Many production, warehouse, and manufacturing operations run around the clock or have extended hours, requiring employees to work shifts that include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, to maintain production schedules and meet customer demands.
