It’s been a fun Day 3 Pliny the Younger 2025 with cute dogs, more Holiday sweaters, lots of good conversations and tattoos! Vinnie and I stopped by @faithtattoo to see how our tattoo collab is going and found this gentleman getting a Blind Pig! Just a reminder that Faith is offering $100 flash tattoos to our guests during the Younger release. Day 2 has been another fun day for Pliny the Younger 2025! @plinypup made a special guest appearance this morning in Windsor. And Vinnie and I ran into the Holiday sweater guys in Santa Rosa! We welcomed guests from as far away as Ukraine and Japan. It ended up being a gorgeous Spring day after a little morning drizzle.

We started today with our annual Pliny the Younger kickoff meetings with the teams, then spent the rest of day putting the final touches on tomorrow’s release! The line has officially begun in Santa Rosa, but I am sworn to secrecy on their arrival time. 🤫 Vinnie will be in Windsor all day tomorrow while I will be with the OG’s in Santa Rosa. We can’t wait to see everyone and enjoy this year’s Pliny the Younger together! #plinytheyounger2025 #plinytheyounger
Exciting day here at RRBC Windsor! Our production team is busy with bottling and kegging while the rest of us are running around getting ready for the big release! Our 21st Annual Pliny the Younger release begins this Friday March 21st. Younger will be available on tap and in bottles through Thursday, April 3rd at both our Santa Rosa and Windsor pubs. Brewed with Brewer’s Gold, a hop variety over 100 years old that had largely faded into obscurity, this beer represents a collaboration between Vinnie and CLS Farms. Together, they revived this classic hop by combining modern growing and kilning techniques with innovative brewing methods. (Also available in 12-packs).

This beer is all about the hops! Brewed with Brewer’s Gold, Amarillo and Centennial hops. Hopfather has notes of black currant, stone fruit, citrus, and floral. This is truly one of our house favorites- just ask any employee! (Also Available in 12-packs)
👨‍⚕️Docta-Ron New Zealand IPA👨‍⚕️
Docta-Ron was first brewed in May 2023 when renowned New Zealand hop breeder Dr. Ron Beatson visited Russian River Brewing to collaborate with Vinnie in the pilot brewery. Inspired by Vinnie’s passion for Nectaron, the unique hop developed by Dr. Ron, they created a Nectaron-focused beer, complemented by other New Zealand hops from Dr. Ron’s previous breeding work.
