First used by Russian River back when it was known as YCR014, Simcoe hops helped shape Pliny the Elder and an entire generation of hoppy beers. Now celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2025, Simcoe went from just 9 acres to a brewing icon, thanks in part to early support from RRBC. Blonde in color with a bold Simcoe hop profile, this West Coast IPA bursts with notes of pine, grapefruit, and hop resin, finishing clean, bitter, and dry. Fun fact: Mosaic is actually Simcoe’s daughter!
